“ Bruh you bettah have some deep pockets before you come here. Inflation went hit this place to da max. Overall the food was hammaz. The poke nachos were mean. They used fresh poke and the ohhh so perfect won ton chips. The spam fried noodles were also perfect, would be excellent with some MSG if you know what I mean. I like the staff they all local and speak pidgin like me. Shoots ”

“ I ate here because I had several hours before my flight back home from Kauai to Los Angeles. It was conveniently located closest to our gate so we wanted a sit down meal to properly eat before we took off. We walked in and we conveniently saw that there were 2 seats available at the bar. So we swooped in quickly to sit there. The experience was spectacular because where we sat all the waitresses came in and out to get chatty and joke around with the funny bartender lady on duty that day. So it was fun hearing about all their silly banter and inside jokes they were saying to each other that only we could hear since we were sitting right front and center where the action happened. The bartender was also great at chatting with us and keeping us entertained throughout our 2 hour meal. Plus, the food that we ordered were perfectly made to wrap up the week long trip in Kauai and wrap up as the last meal on the island. I had their Portugese Soup...SUPERB! It was exactly what I was craving and it hit the spot! I also got their Chicken Cesar Salad and that had the perfect crisp and freshness to balance the soup. I was so happy with my meal. The Mint Mojito and the Pink Flamingo drink were such great refreshers. ”

“ We got to the airport early and decided to grab a quick bite before heading off to another island. This place opened at 8a and we walked right in. Very chill and relaxing. Food and drinks came out fairly quick. We sat at a window seat high top table and watched the planes come in and out. The staff were very friendly and moved through all tables to get everyone tended too. We ordered egg croissant sandwich that came with some home fries. We also had bloody Mary's and high noons. Easy peasy before the flight. ”

“ I was working at the airport for the day and happened to spend a longer time at the airport than anticipated and grabbed lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic and flavorful Cheddar Burger and Pomegranate Nachos. It's been a while since I've had a traditional-type of cheese burger and their burger did not disappoint. I took one bite and couldn't believe how delicious it was. It was simple and delicious! None of the crazy toppings or crazy ingredients other businesses try to use to capture your attention. Just a straight American cheeseburger. I highly recommend. Mea Inu is also a great place to kill time while you wait for your flight. Grab a brew, take a seat in the A/C, and relax. The waiters and management our kind and friendly. Definitely won't hesitate to grab lunch here next time I'm here. ”

We had some time to kill before our flight and the other bar in the airport that's semi outdoors was full, but Mea Inu had plenty of space at the bar We enjoyed our cocktails and the bar was conveneintly just after the security check-in! We did not order any food, which I'm guessing is what the low star ratings are for ”
